what can you give a chihuahua for fever?

Never TYLENOL this could lead to liver failure and possible death. The source of the fever is more important, dogs don't catch colds from humans so if he has any symptoms like runny nose, discharge, cough it will require a visit to your vet. If your dog has been to a groomer lately it is possible that he picked up a common upper respitiry infection, a good preventative for this in the future is to get a bordatella vaccine. Also, how do you know he has a fever???? Did you take a temperature or are you using the hot/cold nose as a gage?
