Should I be concerned?

My 13 1/2 week old puggle has had a loss of appetite in the last two days and is a bit less playful and more lethargic than normal. Usually eats 3/4 to 1 cup at feeding times (is being fed three times per day). Usually drinks two or more cups of water per day. Last two days is not wanting to eat at feeding time or is only eating a few bites of food. Hardly drinking either. Should I be attempting to feed him something else in order to provide nutrition or should I contact a vet ? He has not had any diarrhea or vomiting.

It looks like no one has answered this question so hopefully in the meantime either things have gotten better or you have gone to see a vet.  Usually any depression in a puppy is cause for concern.  There is an endless number of reasons that could cause a decrease in appetite.  First thing I would check is to make sure there is no pain in the pups mouth that is making it painful to eat, then monitor for vomiting and diarrhea.  If those are ruled out then your next step is to take him to the vet.  They will most likely want to run bloodwork to see if there is any toxicity going on and if there is vomiting they will probably want to do x-rays to check for obstructions (items in the stomach that create a blockage and don't let food pass properly).  Best wishes.
