    Hi there

I would not worry too much about the snake, but more about your own safety! Make sure all the factors in the environment are optional for the snake, and that you feed him often enough. Is the humidity and temperature optimal? do you have a water source for him and is the temperature of the water what it should be? Is his cage large enough? all these factors may change the behaviour of the snake if not optimal.

What do you feed him with? He should have whole prey, otherwise he may develop deficiencies.

must be a big snake. u do feed him out of his cage rite? you should always feed your snaek in a separate contaner. and make sure you place the the food inside the container and wash your hand before placing the snake in with them. if you smell like food, your snake may attack. iv had it happen to me. and why your snake tried to eat a fake plant....i have no idea. is it possible that it smelled like prey? or was it warm by any chance? snakes are attracted to the sent and heat of prey, excetially if your feed your live. what kind of snake is it? please reply to my email. i dont get on this site very often. jmmadlock91@live.com. good luck
