My 4 yr old springer spaniol, weight 38lbs is crying when she tries to jump or even when turning lying down. It has been very icy where we live and she is very active and could have slipped on ice while playing with her sister. She is eating, drinking, no trouble urinating and is wiggly. Should I do more than just trying to keep her quiet. I did give her 1/2 a bufferin for pain.

    Hi there

As long as she is bright in herself, eating, drinking and going to the toilet normally, it might be worth keeping an eye on her for a couple of days. If she gets worse tomorrow, I would take her to the vet as they can provide her with some appropriate dog pain killer, and might be able to figure out the origin of the pain.

Let me know how you get on!
