Our black lab has suddenly loss the use of her back legs in the past few days. We have to carried her outside to relieved herself and carried her to the food dish. She had ACL right knee repair surgery last year. At first, we thought this was the problem reoccuring but now we are not sure because both of her legs collapse if she stands on them. My husband plans on taking her to the vet after work. I would take her myself but I am unable to carry her.

I think you have the correct thing by making an appointment with your vet.  Once a  full examination has been done your vet should be able to offer you a diagnosis and treatment plan. I would just keep her warm and comfortable until she sees the vet, It may be worth not offering her anything else to eat, as an empty stomach would be best if any blood tests or further investigations were deemed necessary.

I hope this helps and try not to worry too much.
