taking care of an injured pigeon

hello,
doctor Allison.
i am a student of engg. from India.
today i found an injured pegion in my backyard,it was too weak to fly,it has a broken beak.i mean the lower beak is broken and the upper one in intact.
i have fed it some mustard and water and kept it in a box.all i want to know is that how can i save its life??

    Hi

    Can the pigeon feed itself, when left alone with seed or breadcrumbs sprinkled on the floor? If not then there is little hope for it in the wild.
