My Dog Vomits As Soon As He Drinks Water, (nothing To Do With The Temp Of The Water or volume).. He Can Hold His Food Down For Hours..then Drinks And Vomits All Over The Place. Took Him To The Vets And Got Meds About Two Weeks Ago, Gave Him Ground Turkey And White Rice. While On This Diet And Meds No Problems But As Soon As The Meds Ran Out And He Got Switched Over To The Normal Food He Began To Vomit Again.

I would put this dog on ranitidine (Zantac) for gastric ulcers. Many dogs with gastritis or gastric ulcers will vomit water soon after drinking.
