my staffie is a healthy dog and has a good coat of hair but hes loosing alot of hair around the house is this normal??

My pets are always shedding hair! I put it down to the central heating.

Mary is right, general moulting is normal, but if hair is falling out in clumps and leaving bald areas, or if the dog is itchy, then there is a problem.
