Cat Lymphosarcoma

Rating: 0

My 6 year old male cat Sunny was just diagnosed with advanced lymphosarcoma. I do not want him to suffer from treatments just to add abit more time. Your thoughts? Thanks. Beth maxtercat@gmail.com

That is a decision that you must make with your vet.  Surely no one could deny that chemotherapy for LSA is a very intensive path especially in a cat, and your pet may have to endure regular vet visits, many needle pokes, and medications which make him feel horrible in exchange for a couple extra months.   If you feel this is  unreasonable, and no one could fault you for reaching that conclusion, then you should discuss alternative options with your vet which may simply be keeping him pain free, eating and active for as long as you can.  Given his diagnosis and your concerns for his quality of life this sounds very reasonable.
