i have recently gotten an 8 month old lab sheppard mix, when i first got her she was chewing and biting everything Rawhides,Dog Food, us etc. the last 2 days she will not chew anything including her food she is swallowing it whole.Is there something with her teeth or gums i can look at?

You can certainly look in her mouth and see if anything looks odd. Look for redness (inflammation), swelling, pus, discoloration or a bad odor. If you do not see anything, I would recommend taking her to the vet to rule out a fracture or an inflammatory condition of the muscles in her face.
