what to do for fever or inflamation

my 14yr old lab is shaking and her ears are red inside and has inflamation on tips of ears.I gave her buffern aspirin 30 min. ago. what else can i do to comfort her?

    There's not much else you can give her in tablet form, but it might help to bathe the ears with salt water, and if you have any ear wash you could clean them with it. If the inflammation is more than mild, the aspirin might not be strong enough to give her enough relief, in which case you'd need to take her to the vet for some treatment, particularly if there is an infection in the ears.
