I have a large cat that i thought was pregnant. it has been about 2.5 months sence she was with male and hasn't been in heat...but it seems like she just started...is this a sign of early pregnancy?

When you say large cat do you mean a tiger or lion or just a large domestic cat? The normal gestation for domestic cats is 60-63 days, so if the last time she was with a male was 2.5 months ago, she should have had the kittens by now. Lions and tigers have longer gestation periods - about 4 months I believe.

yes she is a florida panther. panther gestation is 90 days...she's usually in heat once a month and has never in 8yrs gone a month with out going into heat...and it's been almost 2.5 now hense why we were sure she was pregnant...i'm just worried and was wondering if she could have a heat cycle and still be pregnant thank you

Sorry, I don't know too much about panthers. I would imagine she could be pregnant... is she getting fatter? I don't think she could have a heat cycle & still be pregnant.
