my dog is losing his hearing and eye sight but want is bothering us is the lump on the side of his face he had it once before but it went away its lose and the dog now 13

Could you please attach a photo of the lump you are concerned about? If you are worried then take the dog to the vet for a biopsy, the vet can do a fine needle aspirate by just sticking a needle into the lump, to get an idea whether it should be surgically removed or not.
