Is Purina Kibbles and Chunks a healthy dog food? How much should a Corgi eat she is overweight but I feed her a cup of food a day she weighs anywhere from 35-40lbs

Purina is a healthy food, but some overweight dogs don't lose weight unless they are fed a specialist obesity diet. This is because their metabolism changes to accomodate to reduced quantities of normal food. It's difficult to give a guide to how much to feed as there is so much individual variation. I use the manufacturers guide as a starting point and then adjust according the physical condition of the dog on a weekly basis. If she's overweight and only having a cup a day and absolutely no other food from other sources, it sounds like she may need to switch to a special weight loss food in combination with increased exercise.
