70lb Golden Ret. After sitting or laying for awhile when she stands she will not put any weight on a hind leg for about 15 minutes. then she will walk normal. After a nights sleep she puts weight on it the moment she gets up. Any ideas

I see from her profile she is about 4 years old, is this correct? How long has this problem been going on for? Trying to figure out leg pain is really something your dog will need to be seen by a veterinarian for, what I can do is try and give you the most likely scenarios. In a Golden of her weight, the most common cause of these sort of symptoms is some sort of injury - this may be to her soft tissues (ligaments, tendons, muscles) or her bones. Most often, the injury is to the knee joint of the dog because it is quite an unstable joint at the best of times. There are several ligaments that can become strained or even rupture, and this can certainly cause what you are seeing. Joint dislocations, fractures, even arthritis can cause similar symptoms, hence my recommendation to see your vet for a true diagnosis.
