my dog looks like it has a scratch on small knick on her eye and the eye is watering and getting cloudy and not sure it will heal on its own?

I would advise not to wait on this issue. Even though the eye typically heals quite well and rapidly, a veterinarian needs to exam the eye to look for the possibility of a scratch, and if positive, how deep it goes. The thickness of the eye is very thin and you obviously do not want it to rupture.
