Exposed to Ringworm, has no visual signs

I adopted a cat on Saturday, and the foster parent said my cat may have been exposed to ringworm. When will i know if my cat not going to get it if she still has not shown any signs? I have kept her in one room, but would like her to go around the house once i know she isn't going to come down with ringworm. What should I be doing?

I would not do anything special avout this. Ringworm in cats is usually mild and self-limiting anyway- meaning it resolves without treatment unless there is an underlying immune problem. It generally only becomes a big problem in cat colonies and cat rescue homes/kennels. It could take several months in theory before she developed signs, which is too long to keep her confined, so i would treat her as normal.
