my chicken's anus is swollen and it looked like it was about to bleed but the I washed it and put vaseline on it. please help

It may well be a prolapsed rectum - where the end colon turns inside out and protrudes out of the anus - normally due to strianing , constipation.
It also may well be a egg bound chicken (where the egg becomes lodged) and causes swelling of the anus due to its size. I would contact your local vet as both of these are emergencys.
