My cat is losing lots of weight and is refusing to eat, a vet has already tested and cleared him of kidney problems, although he was shot with a pellet gun as few years back

Preliminary tests may have been normal, but that does not mean tht there is nothing wrong. He should be reexamined and further testing is likely indicated.
