My boxer puppy broke his leg about 3 weeks ago. The vet put in a pin to hold the bones back togethe to heal. It seems that now it may have shifted and he is very uncomfortable. He is out of pain medicine and the holidays are here. What can we do until then to make sure he is ok?

Sometimes pain can actually help the bone heal by keeping the pet contained and keeping him from moving around on it. If, however, he seems extremely uncomfortable, you should take him by an emergency or 24-hour clinic if your primary clinic is closed. When was the surgery?
