Dog sore or ringworm?

my dog has a sore that is about a quarter size that looks like little pimples and I put neosporen and covered it and I took it off in the morning and the bandage looked like brown stuff on it. can a dog get ring worm like a human because it kinda looks like that.

    A dog cat get ringworm, but that is more likely in puppies and dogs that are exposed to other animals that might have ringworm. This sounds like a skin infection, although I can't be sure without seeing the pet - your dog should be seen by a veterinarian who can investigate the problem via some simple tests and could then prescribe adequate medications, which may include topical and/or systemic drugs, to treat the problem before it spreads.
