Sudden movements cause my dog to vomit, please help!!

My 2 year old dog has been vomiting quite regualarly (once or twice a day for three weeks now. She always just pukes up bile (bright yellow and foamy). I've watched her and it seems like when she moves suddenly that's when she vomits (like when she goes from sleeping to waking up and jumping off the bed suddenly for one example). Other than the vomiting, her behaviour is very normal. She's eating, drinking, no diarrhea, no blood in her puke or poop, she's playful...
I've taken her to the vet and they took a blook sample from her and her urea counts were high. We also have submitted a urine sample, the results of which are not back yet. They are stumped by her too as their first thought was an intestinal blockage. Please help, any advice you may have would be useful.

This could be enlarged oeshapagus or a dialted oeshopagus. This causes less constriction when the food comes up the other way. The rings of carteledge in the dogs oesphagus could be deteriating with age and can cause this problem. The best thing to do is see your veterinary surgeon regarding this issue but in the mean time liquidise her food and feed her from a height and hold her up in a vertical position for 10 minutes afterwards - all to help digestion of the food. Little and oftern meals are better.

The other possibility may be gastrointestinal as your vet suggests but as long as the issue is being worked up and investigated as this is what i would recommend.

Hope i have been of some help

Please search about this dialated oesophagus over the internet for more information if you wish

She NEVER vomits up food though, and she never vomits up bile after she eats. It's usually soon after she wakes up from sleeping or napping.

This can still be the problem. I would recommend radiographs of her oesophagus and her abdomen including a barium meal (contrast medium)

This is so the food eaten by her willl show up on a xray so you can identify any abnormalitys. The investigations need to be more invasive to get to the bottom. But i would expect oesophagus problems. Simply due to the dact that its with sudden movement
