how can we tell if our dog has parvo or not?

Parvo is generally difficult to detect unless it's too late...... Bloody diarrhea and a lemony/metallic smell. Parvo is deadly, so if you suspect it, take your dog to the vet for a Parvo test ASAP. And make sure he is vaccinated.
