My dog has 2 soft squishy lumps near her shoulder. One is the size of a bouncy ball and the other has an odd shape. What could it possibly be? Is it painful?

Hello there, that's a cute dog! Lumps and bumps in such a yound dog are not very common and the possibilities are cysts, abscesses and tumours. Does it feel fluid filled? How quickly did they come up? Does she react when you tuch them? If she is showing signs of pain, then abscesses are most likely. Otherwise, tumours are not very common in such a young dog but still a possibility. You can watch them for a while, maybe even measure them. IF they are not causing her any discomfort and not increasing in size or changing in consistancy, they may just be benign but if there are any changes, i would have her examined by the vet. The vet cn take a sample of the masses with a needle and send that off to the lab for analysis, and also examine her to make sure there are no other problems. Hope that helps!

Thank you! They grew in a matter of hours. We noticed the lumps in the evening...She didn't have them in the morning. The lump that that is completely round feels like a bubble, almost as if it's filled with air. The odd shaped one does feel like it has fluid. They do not seem to bother her when im feeling them. I guess I can wait and see what happens. I just feel bad for her because i know that they are not suppose to be there.
