my cat is pulling out his fur

hello i hope you can help me. my four year old male cat keeps pulling his fur out at the back of his two front legs. He is flied with frontline and as know hes not allergic to anything. The areas of patchy furless skin is slighty red but not angry or sore looking as yet,

    Hi

    This could be an allergy to something else, but I would make sure it isn't fleas by spraying the house with an environmental flea spray as well as continuing to frontline him. Once you've done that, this could even be a food allergy, though they are rare in cats, so a dietary trial might be the next step.
