my dog has a small bump on his head (size of 1/4") -- it appears to be like a large wart. I tried to see if it was a tick, but did not see any body. Can ticks burrel in to and under the skin and cover themselves up?

Ummmmm there is this bug called a "worble" that actually comes from flies that will burry its body in your pet. Please take your pet to your vet so they can remove the worble.
