For several weeks now my cat is not eatting. We have already taken her to a vet, where they have ran several test and determined that all of her internal organs appear healthy and functioning normal. The Vets had given us some meds which were supposed to help increase her appetite. They do not appear to be working. We have started feeding her a mixture of food, water and a high calorie paste by syringe. The cat appears to be swallowing ok. She will on occasion lick the juices from cat food but won't eat. Small amount of feces and urine are observed everyday. Wondering if you have any suggestions on increasing her appetite. Could it also be a problem with her teeth? If so can you give me some suggestions on what to look for? Thank you for you time, be look forward to your response.

I think it is a very good possiblity that it could be her teeth. Cats that stop eating is bigger problem than in dogs. Cats have to continue to eat or their body strats shutting down. Dogs on the other hand can go a whle with no issues. With that being said if she were my cat I would get a second opinion. It is a very go sign that she is having bowel movements and urinating. You seem to be doing a wounderful job. It will just tae time and patients before things get closer to being normal. I would however get a second opinion. Hope this helps you and yor cat.
