I have a black lab mix. There is a rough patch on his rear quarters where he has scratched it raw. I have benn putting sulfodene? on it. What is the problem???

Sounds like it could be either a hot spot or a flea allergy either way you may want to make an appointment with a vet. They will be able to determine what it is once they examine it. Hope this helps. Please dont forget to rate my answer. Amy
