could she have a blockage?

Rating: 10

I RECENTLY ASKED ABOUT MY PITBULL : SYMTOMS- SHAKING, LETHARGIC, FEW DAYS AGO ATE A RAWHIDE BONE, THEN HAD DIAHREA AND VOMITED SOME OF THE RAWHIDE UP. SHE IS STILL ACTING ABOUT THE SAME, AND HER STOOLS ARE NOT AS MUCH AS THE USUAL AMOUNT. COULD SHE HAVE A BLOCKAGE? COULD IT JUST BE WORMY? CAN I GIVE HER MILK OF MAGNESIA OR SOMETHING? SHE EATS GOOD AND DRINKS GOOD TOO. PLEASE ADVISE.

Pitbulls have allergies to beef and wheat: rawhides, milkbones, greenies

Give her 1 pepcid daily for 3 days and keep her off the allergenic food. Check out my diet tips at gilroyvet.com. Dr M's diet tips

If she is not better after pepcid you should have her checked out

CAN YOU ALSO TELL ME IF THERE IS AN OVER THE COUNTER ANTIBIOTIC TO USE IN HER EARS. SHE IS SCRATCHING ONE EAR AND IT IS RED, I THINK SHE HAS AN EAR INFECTION... FROM ALLERGIES. ALSO, SHE IS CHEWING ON HER FEET TERRIBLY. ALMOST LIKE SHE IS TRYING TO CHEW HER TOES OFF. IS THIS ALLERGY TOO?

Yes most likely. Try one adult aspirin twice daily and one benedryl twice daily for 5 days. Also you can wash out the ears with warm water with 10% vinegar every day for 7days then weekly. This wash kills thr yeast infection in the ears and cleans out the wax. The Benedryl is for the itchy ears and feet, and the aspirin relieves iinflamation and pain. Remember fish oil caps 2 daily for inflamation and to make her skin healthier
