absess

Rating: 0

Hi I sent a 10wk old Bullarabx mastiff pup to its new owner. The pup was on a 6hr flight and when the buyer recieved the pup she claimed it had an absess on its chess and cost her $500 at her vets to fix the problem. I know for sure that there was no absess visible on the dog when I placed it on the plane. How quick can an absess appear? The pup had never travelled before and would have been afraid. Could this trigger it to appear?

It takes a 2-3 days for an abscess to show up to the point were it has to be drained and flushed and treated with antibiotics. I would request medical records and I would also call the vet and consult with him before paying an medical records or anything like that. I hope this helps. Dont forget to rate my answer. Thank you
