My Yorkie Poo keeps getting small benign skin tumors

what causes benign skin tumors on dogs? My Yorkie Poo (5.5 lbs) started getting them a year and a half ago. He had a potentially blocked tract in his urinary bladder and we were advised to switch his diet to an all UD diet with low protein. Shortly after switching to UD diet our lil buddy started to get these benign tumors. The vet has removed them a couple of times but he keeps getting them in different places. Anything we can do to help our lil buddy?

No not really. Sometimes as animals start to age they start getting these benign tumors. It probably has nothing to do with the food it may have been that they popped up around the same time. If they cause problems and restrict the pets ability to get around then they can be removed or for cosmetic reasons otherwise if they aren't bothering you or your dofg then they can be left alone. You can always talk with your vet to see what they recommend.
