Hi i have a six month old chug female ... Layla is so loving and trained and great ... but spoiled and very needy of me... i would like to get another chug puppy do you think this will help so if i am not home Layla will be not alone and not so upset and also give us another puppy to love... Layla sleeps with us does everything with us... thanks Jane

It's common to try getting a new puppy when the exisiting dog is overattached to the owner, but unfortunately it rarely works this way. If Layla has separation anxiety, you will probably end up with 2 anxious dogs. The treatment is a desensitization program, and a behavioural therapy program to reduce her attachment. I would recommend you do this before getting a new dog in order to have the best of both worlds.
