I have a 12 year old Sibrian husky purebred,he has a bad back hip and sometimes locks up on him and is in great pain.I can't get to a vet until Monday as our home town vet has recently passed away and no replacement as yet.Is there an over the counter medication that I may give him to relieve the pain until I get him to a vet out of town.

You can try 1 coated aspirin one time but nothing else can be given until you go to the vet on Monday. Be sure you only give the 1 tablet one time because it can cause stomach ulcers.
