my ferret has blood in her stool and i think a urninary tract inferction. the vets arent open til tomorrow!!! any medicinal suggestions til i can get her in tomorrow morning? i dont want to see her in pain! PLEASE HELP!!

There isn't so much you can give her, medicine wise. Just keep her warm and comfortable. Blood in the stools isn't often as serious as it seems, and not necessarily a painful condition. Let us know how you get on at the vets.

Erica-Just fyi. We found out just today from our vet that they have discovered that ferrets should eat a high in protein-low in wheat/sugar diet. This could be a life saver for your ferret...ours was just admitted to the ICU due to the wrong food!
