sickness

Hi,
My dog has ran a fever for 2 days with a decrease in appetite. Today the fever is down but his appetite is still low. He has no problem going for walks. He is 14 yrs old is there anything i can do, I'm going to make an appt. with a vet for tomorrow. thanks, heather

Symptoms: Breathing, Lethargy

    Hi there,  I think a visit to your vet is definitely necessary - if you can't get in until tomorrow, try and be sure he at least drinks some water to remain hydrated, maybe try tempting him with some human food (i.e. some white meat chicken, rice, potatoes, something like this with NO SPICES) and see if he will take any of this.  Otherwise, just keep him comfy until you can get him in to your vet.  Good luck, hope all turns out well with him!
