With small animals, such as your gerbil, the best way to tell if she's pregnant is to wait and see if her abdomen gets very large. I'm sure if you desired a veterinarian can do an ultrasound, but being that gerbils are so small it may be difficult. If she is pregnant you will see her abdomen become increasingly large on both sides of her spine, giving her a 'pear' shape. She will feel heavier when you pick her up also. She won't show much until a few days before she's due to give birth. The typical gestation length for gerbils is about 24-28 days. For information on how to care for her during her pregnancy and what to do while she's giving birth and after you can do an internet search for 'breeding gerbils' or something similar. Good luck!
