Spike's cold symptoms

My elderly dog (10 lb. toy poddle)has a cold (sneezing & congestion) is there any human OTC drug I can give him in order to make it easier for him to breathe?

Symptoms: Breathing, Sneezing

     Hi there - if your dog has an upper respiratory infection, there is no over the counter medication that can help him.  He would need antibiotics, by prescription from your vet.  I would say you need to bring him to your vet to determine if that is necessary, because if you try over the counter meds, it could make an infection much worse.  Good luck!
