It's a common site for cats to overgroom themselves here. Often this is due to a very mild allergy, or some unknown stress factor. It may not progress to anything more than this, and if she is well and happy, that's fine. But if you are keen to get to the bottom of it there are some tests your vet could do. In the meantime, with cats like this, always keep up to date with flea and/or other parasite treatment.

can it be cannip?we have another cat she doesen't like he is mancoon and gets tied outside, she will pee outside her box if he uses her box, we have two! and she will gaurd them.the cat has been here for over a year it's my daughters.fei does see a vet every year,we don't have fleas. How long should I wait it out and see if I take the nip away if her fur grows back? how would I know if it is a parasite?

It's possible. If you take it away and there isn't an improvement in a month, then it probably isn't the cause. You can see fleas, and it sounds like you know that she hasn't got them, and it's probably not another parasite causing that kind of hair loss. Keep a close eye on her to watch for her pulling her own hair as she washes herself- it's a sign of itchy skin.
