Hi there, Sorry to hear your cat is not well.
It says that he is 9 weeks old, has he started any vaccination yet?
It sounds unfortunatley like he may have Cat Flu, (this cannot be passed to humans) the classic symptoms of cat flu are sneezing, mucus, runny nose and eyes.
You would be best to take him to the vets for a full check over as he may require some antibiotics and eye drops, if left untreated ulcers can develop on the eyes, and also they can become uninterested in food as they cannot smell.
You can help his congestion by bringing him in to a steamy shower room which may help loosen some of the mucus.
It couls also be an allergy, but it does sound classic of cat flu.
Good luck and i hope he makes a good recovery.
