Big lump by dogs tail

I have a small dog, he is a terrier collie mix I think, he has a large lump above his tail it seem to have a smell now that he did not have before, he also drinks more water now but now has a problem making his doggie do do, he is just twelve and has been fine till this problem, I have no job now and no money what can I do too help my dog. thanks Bob

Symptoms: Constipation, Increased Thirst & Urination, Lumps And Swellings

    Is the lump on the base of his tail? Is it painful to the touch?
