Watery Eyes and Sneezing

Rating: 10

My kitten is 4 months old and in the last 2 days he has had clear watery discharge from his eyes (mostly the left eye) and sneezing. He seems to be eating and drinking normally and is still playful although he is sleeping more than normal. Is this the start of an upper respiratory infection? Thank You!

    Hi

This sounds like the start of an episode of cat flu. Is your kitten vaccinated? It could just be an allergy, but if the watery eye discharge turns mucoid then take him to a vet to get some antibiotics.

Yes he has had his first round of shots, about 2 weeks ago. The discharge is still clear from his eyes and it looks like he has a runny nose.
