As long as he didnt spend a lot of time chewing on it then no, I wouldnt worry.  He may have some drooling from the taste but thats all I would expect.  A few words of advice though on but off the subject..... Hartz pet products, dont use em.  They've had numerous problems with causing reactions and making animals very sick.  Most pet stores refuse to even sell them leaving them to be found only at the grocery store or giant generic Mart.   Furthemore as a rule, flea collars are absolutely useless.  They will keep fleas off of the animals neck, and nowhere else.  The fleas will happilly live halfway down the animals back and reproduce like rabbits all the while staring at the flea collar and wondering what it is.  You need to use a quality topical monthly flea treatment that contains a growth inhibitor, such as Frontline, Revolution or Advantage ect. to protect against fleas.  If you skimp on price, you're skimping on protection.  ~D
