Hartz flea collar

Hello my 6 mo. cat was wearing a hartz flea collar and didn't like it. he tried to take it off by using his mouth. should i be worried if the collar got into his mouth

    Don't worry about that, it is not toxic by brief oral contact. I would advise against flea collars, they are pretty ineffective, way better would be a prescription monthly spot-on like Frontline.
