my pet maltese got a shot today cause he was vomiting and appeared stopped up the vet gave him a shot to reduce vomiting since then he has went to the bathroom. would it be ok to feed him a little bit of his science diet poor little guy is very hungry

Hello....we generally reccomend starving (ie feed water only) for 12-24 hrs for vomitting, so you can do this and then start feeding small amount of a very bland food like chicken and rice. If he is not vomitting in 3-4 days time you can gradually change him over to science diet (mix the 2 for a couple of days), but if his tummy is irritated at the moment then starvation followed by a bland diet is best.
