    Hi

YOur Staffire's exercise intolerance is most likely due to arthritis. Therefore adding glucosamine to his diet would be a start, and keeping exercise little and often rather than big walks.

A trip to the vet would be prudent however to rule out heart disease, and for the vet to check his joints thoroughly. If the vet thinks it is arthritis and the severity justifies it, your dog may be given prescription painkillers (NSAIDs).
