Sporadically, for the past two days, my dog is having trouble with his jaw! It seems as though when he moves his jaws, they are chattering (as if he has tmj!!!) What coulod this be???

There are many reasons for chattering teeth but one of the first things I would think about would be oral pain ( most likely from dental disease). Other issues that could cause this could be neurological, behavioural and mechanical ( joint problems). Is he able to eat and drink OK? does he have any obviously bad teeth? I would suggest that he gets a check up to see what the cause is.
