My cat is pregnant and she keeps nursing on herself. Is this normal? Why does she do this? She does it quite often also

Is she nursing or just cleaning herself?  Are any of her mammary glands red and/or swollen?  When is she due?

I don't know when she is due, but her stomache is getting big. She just nurses on herself and kneeds. As if she was nursing from her mother. I didn't know if it was maybe because she was weened early or something.  I don't know too much about her. She was my neighbor's cat, but has just not gone home in quite some time.

It could be because she was weened early, but that may not be the case.  Either way, as long as there is no evidence of inflamation or infection, the behavior is harmless.
