How much food should a pregnant german short hair be fed each day?

It's difficult to give an exact answer without knowing the exact stage of pregnancy and what type of food she is used to being fed. They do have a very high energy requirement though, and can almost be fed ad lib in some cases. The best plan is to use a high quality commercial dog food designed for pregnant and lactating bitches, then you can be certain of the right nutrients being present, and it will guide you with the quantities according to the dog'd weight. Calcium is one of the most important substances to a pregnant bitch.
