Puppy can't walk

My 4 and half month old boxer began limping on his back leg on Wed. by thurs he did not want to get up and walk at all. He's having problems actually getting to a standing position, walking, he's uncomfortable and whinning even laying down. This came about with no known trauma, he had been camping with us at the desert last weekend but and at that time we began to notice him kind of favoring same leg but when we examined him we were unable to find any injuries. He did not ever leave camp or my side for that I'm very concerned about him he's never been hurt or even sick. He is up to date with his shots and he will eat and drink but I have to bring food to him

It is difficult to determine what the problem is without your vet performing a thorough exam, especailly if it has gotten worse. Unfortunaetly large breed dogs, including Boxers, can develop hip dysplasia as early as a few months old, so its best to see your vet.
