plasma cell tumor

Rating: 10

Griffy just had a toe amputated due to a plasma cell tumor and the results came back dirty after the sugery. The oncologist's practice who did the surgery says radiation is in order. Our regular holistic vet says it is not necessary. What to do?

HI there, This is a difficult one to answer, because you are comparing 2 completely different philosophies of medicine. Holistic docs advocate using natural healing, whereas oncologists use more traditional methods to try and prolong life. As far as what to do, that is a question you have to ask yourself: do you believe in holistic philosophies or traditional? If you want my opinion what I would do, I would have to go with the oncologist if it were my own pet. Good luck!
